Just back home from playing ROOTS by doubleyellowline crew.And a hell of an excellent job the organising was.Would really like to personally thank Ben from DYL for inviting us to play for the ROOTS show.And to all thoes people who came down to see us play despite the rain and freaking cold weather.Chatted with the guys from Summer's Over.Cool bunch of people.At least they were a friendly band.Really enjoyed their original pieces alot.Watch for Bismuth's upcoming gig in the month of June.There's going to be quite i few.And don't forget to take a listen to our songs that were recorded not too long ago at www.purevolume.com/bismuth .

Hello again all.I'm finally updating my blog cause I finally have something to write about.Just finished the 1st half of the demo CD we were recording a couple days back.And damn it was a freaking good experience.Everything about it was dopped.Although it lasted from saturday night all the way to sunday morning (8.45 roughly).It was still awesome.The sound engineer made the whole thing very fun with all the corny jokes and shit.Will be playing at Woodlands Community Center coming sunday.At 2 in the afternoon.Its organised by the nice people at doubleyellowline.Make sure you come down and check it out ya..As the saying goes.Be there or be square.Well that's all the shit.And ya.Mid years are this Thursday help me.Amen.

Sad news unwraps..As the announcement of the The Holy Father Pope John Paul II death is made.This announcement of His death really got me thinking of certain things about my faith and my identity as Roman Catholic.For example the election of the Pope and what impacts is it going to make to the future of the Church,the direction its going to take..and what new plans the new Pope has in mind.I think of all of this cause I'm sure most if not all Catholics around the world are already used to the leadership of Pope John Paul II.It also got me think if the new Pope will have the same or more impact around the world like the late Holy Father.Was reading every single article about the death of the Pope and the election of the new Pope in the papers today when we received it today..Which started all the pondering.And I also noticed all the comments of the Pope by various world leaders which was very heart warming and made me even more proud to be a Catholic than I am..With this,I end my entry.

HELLO!! I've finally decided to update my blog after ages of leaving it to rot.Holy week just went by.Didn't attend my yearly ritual of going for the Holy Thursday vigil.Just didn't felt right if I went.No idea why.So after mass..Me and JJ ended up at his place after having dinner with my folks.We were just hanging out there waiting for Mr Andrew to be done with his church visits and stuff.So after he arrived and we were all ready for a drinking session..We remembered that 7-11 doesn't sell alcohol after mid-night.And we were there at 12.25..Damnit.And when we got to 7-11..there was some uncle trying to buy some alcohol he was so fucking persistent after the store attends repeatedly told him there isn't going to be alcohol sales after 12.I think they would've closed one eye if he was just purchasing 2 bottles or something..But the dude was like trying to buy 4 big bottles and several other small bottles.Madness.And cause of the market spoiler..ourselves and 2 Indian dudes couldn't get their beverages! Fucking Moron.So not to fret...We decided to take a slow stroll back to church to help them set up the stage for the stations.But I won't exactly call what I did helping out.Cause half the time i was on the phone(Sorry guys).But I did in the end to redeem myself..hahahah.Then on that saturday..I slept till like 7 in the evening.And was late in meeting the rest of the group.Attended holy saturday mass till late..went to swensense for dinner/supper.And reached back home quite late.And cause of that..I was almost late for work..Wahahaha.Hmm..i think that's all about my Holy week adventures.Till next time..

Man.How quickly time flies.It's already the end of Feb and the near end of the 1st term of school.Today was the collection of the results for the kids that took the 'O's last year.And in just another year's time.It'll be my turn as well.Anyway,I went to catch the Norah Jones concert held at Suntech's convention halls with JJ.And boy was she and The Handsome Band satisfying the crowd with all that Jazz.We got to the hall late though.Cause my family was celebrating my mom's and my birthday that day.And my food took hella long time to be done.But still I think we didn't miss much as said by the tickter at the door.So yah..really had a blast there.Expensive ticket price or not.After the show though..I was surprised to see Miss Fong.My POA teacher for about 2 months there..And so was she I guess.Hahahaha.Never knew she was into Jazz.Ohh..and JJ and myself felt so out of place as everyone exiting the hall was old so old(or older than us at least.WAY OLDER).That's about it for the concert and about all I wanted to say.

On this day..17 years back.An infant was bourned. that infant is me.Now in the form of a unpure,corrupted person(it's totally cause of my friends I swear.hahaha).How my mother must miss the days that I was an innocent little creature.Well a big thanks to those people who remembered it and left me greeting and got stuff for me.Big appreciation given to them.Although it's my birthday..I didn't throw any fancy party or anything.I have never had the habit of birthday parties.So what other more perfect way to spend my birthday than having a jam session.And boy was it another exciting and near perfect session.And we were given an extra half hour by Ann(the owner of the studio).So we ended practicing our originals with Brian(our new drummer if you don't already know).Thing is Wan and myself decided we would do that the session after this at first.But what the hell,It turned out very well.So I couldn't ask for a better present than that.Hmm..that's it I guess.Signing out.

Hello again.Just went jamming with our future drummer(hopefully).He's actually a friend of my brother's.Brian's the name.And damn he's fast.And I think it would be safe to say that this session was one of the best we've had.And hell..It's just the 1st with him.So am really looking forward to him being in our band.So having said that..I'm in a very very happy mood.And will be for next few day probably..Before some one spoils it again.Wahahaha.Got the proposal for the gig Joe and myself were intending to have in church all done already.Hope it goes through all fine.Fingers crossed for that.And speaking of gigs.It's be hell of a long time since Bismuth played in a gig.Was talking to Gene online the other day,And he was like asking he's whole class if anyone's heard of us.And one of his classmates actually said yes.Which is amazing.Hopefully that guy wasn't shitting Gene.whahahah.Well that it I guess. Hola everybody.School's been bad.My teachers are beginning to get pissed at my class.And the situation now is starting to be a reminiscence of my my class last year.Which is very bad news.Complains have been swarming in.Juts jammed yesterday after a very extremly long break.But this time it was with a new drummer.Hafiz from Flint's poly.And the funny thing is..He somehow or other reminds me of Jamil.That was a very good session for a first together I might add.Another thing..Please vote electrico for favorite artist Singapore! It's been the third week ever since the schools re-opened.And yes I've been surviving.Watched the match between Singapore and Indo.It was very cool that we were crowned as the champs.And yesterday's match was the first match since 1990 something that the National Stadium was full for a soccer match!!Coolness.And I must commend the Singapore team for their composure during the game! Viva la Singapore!

Hola.The Year 2005 is fast approaching.Just 2 days to go in fact.It be Ah Beng & Patrica's wedding on New Year's Day(Which by the way i think is a super cool date).My ultmost congrats to the both of them.Well on thing's for sure in this year.There'll be alot of changes happening and I think some of 'em are going to shape the way my year turns out.From my study attitudes to the way I read people to my band and even my supposed "New Year's Resolution".That is to not swear that much.Which I reckon will be a real challange.But what's life without it's challanges..? Greetings to all.Just came back from a church camp a day ago.And god am i exhausted.The camp was okay except that it was kind of boring.But it was all good.Also bought electrico's so much more inside..And after listening to it.I really think everyone should get the album.Cause they'll be real idiots if they don't.And hey kids..I've got my earhole enlarged.Not that very big i might add..But still enlarged.And Audrey is hoping that my earhole rots.Thanks audrey.Well starting work routine again,So chances are..I'll not be blogging often again.Not that I have been anyway.Ohh one last thing.Will be collecting my 'N' level results this friday.Fingers crossed for that.

hahahahah.Here I am yet again to waste your time reading the daily happenings of my life.Lemme see..It's been about a month since I started working at Haagen Dazs.And shit there's going there pretty well.I've yet to receieve my pay check and hell I seriously can't fucking wait..Just finished eating a pack of instant noodles and scalded my finger in the process of making me.Now the scalded area is all wrinkled and it fucking hurts like hell.Anyway..Enough of my finger..Bismuth's finally going to play at a gig again and boy I can't wait.Our first gig with my new bass.Damn I'm excited about that.Well that's al for now i guess..Later

Hell.I think this is the longest period of time that i haven't blog for man.Wahahaha.Can't blame me yah..?I've been busy.With work and shit.Well..Started working at haagen dazs last monday..Was tough at first..cause you've got to remember the 'codes' for the different flavours and stuff.But after the second day..It turned out to be quite easy already.Yesterday was one hell of a day man.JJ,JP,Joe and myself went for a car ride with JJ and JP's cousin.Whahaha.It was the most hilarious car ride man..At first..we were supposed to go somewhere in Jurong East to have supper.But somehow or other..We ended up at Newton Circus to have supper.After supper..we went to Marina South for a game of pool..After the game..We decided to go to the Lim Chu Kang cemetery side..cause i wanted to check out the stretch of road where people street raced here..And the place smelled of chicken shit.After that we went to their cousin's army camp(just the entrance) and then headed back to JJ's place...By the time we reached his place..it was already 6.00 plus in the morning(we set off at 1.00am plus).When we got back..we got a lecture from their grandma.That was funny..cause she was in the kitchen when we came back..and when she saw us..we quickly ran to their room.Leaving their cousin out side to face her wrath.Well..that's it for now.I'm going to catch Excorcist now.Later.

Man..It's been quite awhile since I last blogged man.Can't help it though,you know..'N' levels and stuff.I've been kind of busy with school and shit.So...3 more days and it's done.Can you believe how fast my 'N' levels are going.It doesn't even feel like it started at all.Today were the science papers,And boy..They weren't as hard as my prelim papers.In fact the 'N's science weren't even close to the difficulty level of the prelims.Okay..enough about the exams already..This month..seemed to me like "reunion month".Reason being..I met up with another primary school friend.Second of all,I bumed into someone from my present school but who left this year.Thirdly,I got to speak to many of my friends whom I haven't spoke to in awhile.So this 3 thing that happened this month is really cool..That's why I named it "reunion month".But only for this year though.That's all for this entry i guess.Till next time..It's SteVoe signing out..!

Man..What a day today had been.We were supposed to go for a jamming session today..But apparently..Jamil needs to study for the coming GCEs...I guess i should too but...Oh well what the hell..it's all over and done with..So I guess the next time we'll be jamming will be after the exams are over..Argh!! That's going to be forever..Anyway..We(boon seng,jing yuan,francis,shi ying,bi wei and 2 other girls..sorry i forgot their names) celebrated Rodney's birthday..Although it isn't today..his whole family was there..We had loads of of BBQ-ed food..It was really very nice to have such a 'party' before the exams..Well..it's getting late and i so stonned..hope i'll be alert enough to attend Ms Dalina's lesson later on..See you guys around.

Just watched 'Kill Bill' on DVD.And damn it's a fucking violent show.Talking about movies.. I watched this movie titled "American History X" it's a story about SkinHeads in a particular neighborhood.. And it focuses on two of the members of the D.O.C(the skinhead clan there).. and the story goes on when one of them went to prison after killing 4 African American for attempting to steal a truck their deceased dad gave them. More of the movie tells about the story of them after he was released from prison and come home to find his brother a part of the D.O.C. After that he tries to get his brother out and make his family a happy an normal one that it used to be.It's fucking nice..Everyone should watch it..So much for the movie..ehh.the photos of the wasped tour will be here by tomorrow i think..Sorry if i kept anyone waiting..That's it for now i guess.Later

Horray.I finally can use my own com to blog! I think it must be the deleting of the cookies that's the cause of me not being able to. Hmm..I think i must have accidentally deleted them.Ohh well..today was a great day.We had 4 periods free today cause Mr Ting wasn't in school and Mr Shaeful(not sure if it's the right spelling)... I've got no idea where he was for the whole day.All I know was he came in the class to give us worksheets and then left.Later...I went to meet gerri to have some coffee with her..something that i haven't done in a very long time..And i fianlly know how to get my way around Holland V.After that..i went to the hospital to visit my dad..And he said that he'll be able to be discharged tomorrow afternoon if all goes well.Is that excellent news or is that excellent news..?!?Wahahah.This is so great!!That's all for now.Later

Wow. What an amazing week this has been. I’ve got my awesome new bass. And it sounds good as hell man. Got it on Thursday if I remember correctly. But never had the time to update my blog then cause of my freaking com and all..ARGH! Anyway.. I got a present for Gerri for her birthday along with Sarah and Char on Thursday before getting the bass. Thing is.. I was planning to give it to her today (Saturday) but.. I fucking forgot to man!! FUCK. Can you believe it.. Something as simple as passing a gift I forget. I need a damn memory check man. Oh well.. ‘N’ levels in 2 weeks time. I better not fuck this one up or I’m totally screwed! WooHoo..the madarin papers for the 'N's are finally over man..my day of horror has passed and the pasture seems greener(pardon me being poetic).I still can't fucking write any entries using my home com and have to use other people's com or ask for help to post an entry for me..now how sucky is that...?And boy..What a rush this week has been..woth the 'n' level papers and shit..social studies paper tomorrow..i think i'm ready for it and yet i don't.Argh..what a drag.all this shit's going to all go away pretty soon..Because...I'm GETTING A NEW BASS!!what can be better than that man!i think that's the on;y thing that'll be driving me during tomorrow's paper..hmm..i wonder what'll happen to the rest if the papers after i get my bass..hahahah.we'll just have to wait and see i guess..Later kids!

ohh man.the wasped tour was the shit man! everything turned out fine although there was so much problems to go through before it could happen.i really must say 'GREAT JOB NIHAAD & FRIENDS'.well..we were late for our slot actually..hahahah.cause we got lost in the republican poly campus together with 20DC.and when we finally reached "the plaza" it was just in time for us to get on stage and start playing.so apart from being late everything went really well show wise.but many of flint's.jamil's and my friends couldn't make it.which i think was the only thing that suck for me.hahahh.that's all for now folks.Later

Hooray!The weekends are finally here man!!The time of the week that I actually look forward to.well..school was great today cause it ended early.And Fridays are always a welcoming sign.No?hahahh.we'll Be jamming at alvron later and I'm sure it'll be a excellent session although we haven't jammed in awhile.Our gig's coming up tomorrow as well.it's going to be terrific.although the venue of the performance isn't confirmed yet.We'll be playing at Republic poly(rp) if all goes well.hey..My blog looks very refreshing don't you think??But not without faezah's help. I'm just not very good at stuff like designing blogs and all.But I've got very wonderfully nice friends to help..hahahahaha.Thanks faezah.
